Sadé Awele has been named one of the 100 Black Women to Watch in Canada by CIBWE (Canadian Institute for Black Women's Excellence), a distinguished recognition celebrating Black women who are making significant contributions across various fields.

CIBWE's annual list celebrates Black women who demonstrate excellence, leadership, and a commitment to uplifting their communities. Sadé's selection reflects her growing influence in the arts and her dedication to authentic storytelling through music.
'Being recognized by CIBWE means so much to me,' Sadé shared. 'As a Nigerian-Canadian woman, I want to use my voice and platform to inspire others, especially young Black women who might be dreaming of careers in the arts.'
The recognition came during a pivotal time in Sadé's career, following the success of her debut EP 'Time Love Journey' and her growing presence in the Canadian music landscape.
